Hi. I'm the Community Manager, aka The Mayor of Tennisopolis. Welcome to the site! Tell your friends about us. Use the "invite" tab at the top.

Oh, about me? I'm a website developer as well as a tennis player and huge fan of the pros. I'm a good 4.0 player, but I've started playing the 4.5 tournaments - trying to move up to the next level.

I love to follow the pro game. I get fully obsessed during the Grand Slam events to the point where I want to lock the door and just sit around watching in my jammies.

Please invite your friends to join.
Favorite Pro Player(s):
McEnroe, hands down. Agassi is second. Oh, you wanna know current faves? I like rooting for Murray, Santoro, Wawrinka, Schnyder, Jankovic, Nalbandian and Spadea. Weird group I know, but hey. I love Federer but I just can't root for him - he doesn't need it. LOL

TennisChick is full of great ideas, and one that she came up with this week was to do some short poems about the state of professional tennis. (Here's a link to her blog post). So what's a haiku? To get the gory details, check the wikipedia page,...

This is such a good idea, I'm going to start a Haiku thread in the Forum which will last in perpetuity. I'll post the thread here so that you can add your haikus and we can get the ball rolling there! M

Tennisopolis: The Community Of Tennis!

Hi tennis people! I'm so glad you finally arrived to save the day. I started Tennisopolis.com for a couple of reasons. First, I was fed up with the current state of tennis websites. There was nothing that connected people and allowed fans and players to express themselves. I thought to myself, "why is the most popular tennis forum run by a tennis store?" I mean where do their priorities lie? So I partnered with some buddies and created Tennisopolis (great name, yes, thanks) to put the focus on the members (you!) and allow members to meet, chat, and tell people about what they do and who they are.

Leave me a note. Thanks for stopping by my page.

So What About Copyrighted Content?

Hi everyone. I know that most internet users run willy-nilly copying great photos and pasting them to their favorite websites (Tennisopolis included.) I couldn't imagine how many illegally duplicated photos are on Facebook alone. Not to mention all the illegal vids on YouTube. Nonetheless, it is not allowed.… Continue
