I am continually interested in tennis rackets, strings and tensions of other players and the reasons why we make these choices.

Tension yes, repeatedly treated unfairly sounds a bit like chip on the shoulder. Arrogance is what comes across to the viewer, remember she was the one at about 16 who said she could beat any man seeded 200+ and ended up with egg on her face. She ...

Some Things You May Want To Know About Me:
I love Art, Football (Liverpool FC) and Tennis. I try and play at least 3 or 4 times a week and after about 20yrs without any exercise of any note I joined a tennis club nearby. I have been playing for a few months and my competitive edge has come back. Technically Im quite sound but getting used to changing grips, ball bounce and running etc was rather difficult. At the moment its going well, backhand is consistent, Ive always had a big serve which wins me most games but inconsistency on the forehand, sometimes its great but often miss the easiest of balls (Ive posted a couple of vids that helped me with this).

My Real job is that I am an artist and I exhibit throughout Europe.

"I’m interested in the whole history of painting as a kind of dictionary of ideals that needs to be ransacked as completely as possible. A need for all the possible characteristics of painting, from the retarded to the sophisticated, to be simultaneously represented, as though the whole past lives of the medium were flashing before our eyes." Ive been playing with Prince Ozone Tour for the past 3 months and playing some of the most consistent stuff in 2 yrs. My problem with it is I cant serve with it! Maybe its the larger head I dont know, cant hit a hot serve and cant slice out wide. As my serve is my biggest weapon I decided to go… Continue

Dodgy knees and the hardcourt season.

Forget the grass court season August is my favourite time with Montreal, Cincinnatti and the US Open all on the hard courts, great games, great point, just great tennis.

With Hewitt being the surprise and playing so well he plays Roddick next. Ive put Roddick in the semi but as with Queens this could be very close. Im still going with Rod but if Leyon gets on a ro… Continue

Swingthoughts (BuST)

Ive been thinking a lot about swingthoughts lately and I know when I dont remind myself of these things then I play poorly.

I would like to ask any others whether they have any swingthoughts that have helped them. I remember starting to drive and starting to play golf and I had a… Continue

Awesome! I featured it. Yeah, this will help keep more blogs on the main page. I want to make the blogs more prominent since we get so many great ones here. I'm thinking about moving the latest activity to the side - although I know that the LA is good for new members. people like to join sites where there is a lot of activity. thx again. M

Thanks for the Racquet tip. Is there a 6.1 98"? I feel like going a little bigger. I tested a 6.1 (if this is Roger's paint job) and liked it pretty well a couple years ago. Maybe that is a good idea.

Nice Art Richard. I read the comments about racquets you posted and found it interesting. The Fischer is a nice looking racquet. Don't see them around here. I use prince now.I am a training aid developer and not a pro player, but love to see different technologies to give players an advantage. Seems like the feel and action you get from the Fischer is great for your game.

Good luck
