I just joined this site and saw your post to the Fairfax group saying you are looking for someone to hit with.
When I was playing seriously 8 years ago, I was a 4.5/4.0 rated HS player. I stopped when I got to college and just started playing again about a month ago, getting the feel for tennis again by hitting with the kid who was #3 at Swarthmore College (div 3) last year. My level of consistency still fluctuates, but I'm definitely good enough to just hit. And I did manage to beat him in a tiebreaker yesterday, which was surprising and awesome.
Anyway, he's going back to school, I just moved to the area less than three months ago, and I would love to find someone reasonably patient who wants to hit/play at least once a week. Would you like to play sometime? Hope to hear from you soon.
